1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Chasing Pure (“the Service”) at chasingpure.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Chasing Pure Golf LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), an Oregon limited liability company. Contact: hello@chasingpure.com.

2. Description of Service

Chasing Pure is a golf handicap and world ranking application. It calculates an estimated handicap index and world percentile ranking for everyday golfers based on self-reported scores.

Important disclaimer: Chasing Pure is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by the United States Golf Association (USGA), the World Handicap System (WHS), or any other official golf governing body. Rankings and handicap estimates produced by the Service are unofficial estimates for entertainment and personal tracking purposes only. They are not official USGA Handicap Indexes and should not be represented as such.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will deactivate their account and delete their data.

4. Accounts

To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information at registration
• Maintaining the security of your password
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use at hello@chasingpure.com

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User-Generated Content

You may submit content to the Service including golf scores, group names, player names, and profile information (“User Content”). By submitting User Content you represent that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, you have the right to submit it, and it does not violate any third party's rights. We reserve the right to remove User Content that violates these Terms.

Score integrity: The Service relies on self-reported scores. We do not verify the accuracy of scores submitted. Deliberately submitting false scores to manipulate rankings undermines the integrity of the Service and may result in account termination.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Free access: Your first 3 rounds (before creating an account) and your first 30 days of membership are free. No credit card is required to start.

Paid plan: Continued access after the free month requires an annual membership: $24.95 per year, per golfer — purchased for yourself, or funded on your behalf by a group master.

Billing: Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on an annual recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods.

Lifetime plans: Lifetime memberships purchased before July 2026 are no longer sold but remain valid indefinitely.

Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

7. Groups

The Service includes group features that allow users to create shared leaderboards and track scores collectively. The group master is responsible for managing their group and its members. Group masters who purchase funded seats are responsible for the conduct of members in those seats. We reserve the right to dissolve groups that violate these Terms. Group names must not be offensive, defamatory, or infringing.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false or deliberately misleading scores
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the Service to send unsolicited communications

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Chasing Pure Golf LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without our prior written consent.

User Content remains yours. By submitting User Content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display it in connection with operating the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Rankings or handicap estimates will be accurate or conform to any official standard
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chasing Pure Golf LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chasing Pure Golf LLC, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@chasingpure.com. We will delete your data upon request, subject to any legal retention obligations.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Oregon.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
